I am a huge fan of the weekend escapes abroad. If you live in Europe you will certainly know about the super cheap flights that ryanair and other companies offer for some weekends.
We bought our tickets to/from Barcelona for just 30 euro and immediately booked a 4* Hotel on Booking for less than half its prize.
As soon as we arrived to the Hotel, the receptionist told us the entire hotel was full and gave us a suite at the 7th floor, not bad, uh?
The Ayre Caspe Hotel is an amazing place to stay, it’s beautiful, clean, the staff is super kind and accommodating and even if it’s located just a few steps from the Tetuan metro, you can easily get to the city centre with just a little walk.
We met with one of my best friends who lives in Barcelona since 2011 and all I can say is that we had a lot of fun and ate super good spanish food all the weekend long.

So, if you like traveling but you never have time or you think you don’t have enough money, check out the flight deals and give yourself the chance to go away even if it’s just for 48 hours… You won’t never know how many things you can do and see in this little time if you never try… My advice is not to wait to have a 2 weeks holidays to go and see the world, take that chance and move from your sofa, you won’t regret it !
